Automated data ingestion and normalisation, structured categorisation, price-history tracking, and an editorial layer on top — so the platform can carry a large catalogue while a small team still controls what gets surfaced.
The engineering question behind a deal platform is not how to display a price. It is how to keep tens of thousands of listings accurate, de-duplicated and categorised when the upstream sources disagree with each other.
