What helps most

  • What is happening now, in plain terms
  • What would need to be true for this to have worked
  • Any hard dates — a launch, a season, a board meeting
  • Anything already built that has to be kept

About budget

A range is more useful than a number, and “not sure yet” is genuinely fine — it just means the first reply will include a couple of options at different sizes rather than one. We would rather tell you a project is smaller than you feared than discover a mismatch three calls in.
