UX/UI & Product Design
Interfaces designed around what people are actually trying to do, tested before they are built.
The business problem
The product works, but people do not get through it. Support answers the same question every week, the analytics show a cliff on one screen, and every proposed fix is a guess because nobody agreed what the screen was for.
Good interface design is mostly subtraction, and subtraction requires knowing what the screen is for. That is why this work starts with the task and not the layout.
The GDS approach
Make it clear, make it yours, make it work.
We map the real task before designing the interface, then prototype the critical paths so they can be tested while changes are still cheap. Design ships as a system — components, states, rules — so the team can build the next twenty screens without redesigning the first one.
